Calling all businesses in Hackbridge

From a scooter fabricator to a green wall builder through a smattering of paint shops and a collection of joiners,  Hackbridge's small businesses come in many guises. Until I started walking around Hackbridge I hadn't realised how rich a business landscape we have.  As the Business Engagement Manager for the Hackbridge Project I have discovered that not only do we have lots of Businesses hidden away, but also an interesting variety.

Through a series of events and by visiting 50 individual businesses for a free audit, the Greening Businesses in Hackbridge project will help local businesses to reduce energy and water bills, cut waste, and join together to buy services more efficiently.

It is a 2 year project run by the London Borough of Sutton and funded by money from Europe, via the European Regional Development Fund and the London Development Agency. If you are a small or medium sized business who are interested in finding out more about the project please call  Matt Sullivan, at BioRegional on 020 8404 4238 or email matt.sullivan@bioregional.com. Visits and events run throughout the summer and autumn, so get in touch now. To find out more, visit the project page
