Sport facilities for adults and kids. Improve the look of Hackbridge town centre, even if there isn't any and the Felnex Estate area - but some trees and plants there. The road along the Beddington Park is awful and full of rubbish, the pavements are too narrow. The bridge is falling apart. Ease and slow down the traffic at London Road. What is happening with the Kelvin House?

sporting facilities - possibly tennis courts or football posts on green area by bedzed pavillion pretty up the shops - hanging baskets, money for shopkeepers to give shopfronts a lick of paint (graffiti proof, ideally) do something with the former kelvin house - or at least tell us what's happening with it make the mile road pathway to beddington park more permanent and attractive - at the moment, it's a haven for fly tippers and the actual track to the park is pretty dismal. make the entrance to the station more on-foot friendly and less car-friendly

A tennis court on the bedzed developemnt would be great - we could have 2 - one for local residents, and one for hackbridge residents. The site is currently unused, posing as a football field - but the turf has been dismissed as unsuitable. A tennis court is gender neutral, and we could still have space for a field. In Hackbridge in general: Flower pots/Hanging street plants - we cant allow the highways council to keep saying no as several people have asked for this. More public benches A pretty access point over the bridge by the tile shop to the park (mile road) - it is smelly and dirty now - it could be made into a pretty walkway. A lick of paint for local shops. The raising of the wall by the felnex estate to cover its ugliness and industrial feel - plant loads more trees too. The wall on HAckbrdge road could be raised too or more plants to hide it's horribleness. a zero tolerance litter scheme. develop the site at kelvin house - what's happening there...

New developments in Hackbridge Of the 5 potential development sites in Hackbridge, I think 4 of them are a good idea and should be developed at a high density. I do not agree that the Land East of London Road should be developed for housing. It is Metropolitan Open Land. The residents of Hackbridge need more accessible good quality green space and the youth of the area need somewhere to go where they can hang out / ride bikes / kick a ball around. We should apply for fundng to redevelop this area as a public park.

Places for young people to go There is a shelter on the parkland opposite St Helier hospital where the young people can go and hang out and "not be hassled". Apparently it works really well. We need something like that in Hackbridge.

Ecology Park Let's bring back the plans for the Ecology Park on the Land East of London Road. These plans were widely consulted on in Hackbridge 10 years ago and there was widespread support for wetlands, lavender fields, dog walking areas, all kinds of demonstration sustainable land use that would give Hackbridge residents a place of beauty where they can go and relax. I'll put the old plans up on display at All Saints church for Hackbridge week.

Set up a Hackbridge Swap Shop online. Then when you need something like a new kettle (this happened to me), you email round saying "Has anyone got a spare kettle?". I ended up with 2. Does anyone need a kettle? There's already Sutton Freecycle. This is even more local.
