The One Planet Experience is a new multimedia interactive exhibion at the BedZED visitor centre. Funded by Defra and created by BioRegional, this Inspire mark awarded project explains how London 2012 aims to be the greenest Olympic and Paralympic games ever, and contains three rooms of multimedia and interactive displays to inspire visitors to save energy and reduce waste. Try out the carbon calculator house to see how you can reduce your energy bills, ride in the energy velodrome to see how many household appliances you can power, watch videos to see exactly what happens to your recycled aluminium cans and glass bottles, and test your knowledge on the touchscreen energy and waste quizzes.
Entry is completely free, although group visits must be arranged in advance by emailing stephen.edwards@bioregional.com.
