One Planet Experience opened in October 2011 at the BedZED visitor centre. Funded by Defra and created by BioRegional, this Inspire mark awarded project the London 2012 sustainability story and how it has aimed to be the greenest Olympic and Paralympic games ever. One Planet Experience inspire visitors to save energy and reduce waste with interactive multimedia displays.
Try out the carbon calculator house to see how you can reduce your energy bills, ride in the energy velodrome to see how many household appliances you can power, watch videos to see exactly what happens to your recycled aluminium cans and glass bottles, and test your knowledge on the touchscreen energy and waste quizzes.
