Sustainability Action Plan

The Sustainability Action Plan is divided into the 10 One Planet principles.

The One Planet Living programme is based on ten guiding principles of sustainability. The 10 principles cover social, economic and environmental sustainability, so One Planet Living is as much about your happiness as the planet's. We use the 10 principles to create Sustainability Action Plans, for individuals, organisations, new housing developments and cities, towns or boroughs.

Sutton Council have written their own ambitious Sustainability Action Plan for the borough, which can be found here: Sustainability Action Plan.

This is the council's vision for how it will become a One Planet Borough by 2025. Please note that this is not reflected in the tabs to the right, which draw together the community's ideas and plans.

Everyone is welcome to contribute ideas, through this website.This is a celebration of Sutton's sustainability as well as a plan to move things forward so please feel free to promote good things that are already happening.
