One Planet Living will celebrate the diverse and rich local cultural heritage, as we help create a sense of place that we can all feel proud of.

London is one of the cultural capitals of the world, and Sutton boasts its own range of arts venues, festivals and heritage sites. The Borough also has a rich history, from the lavender fields that supplied Victorian parfumeries in Paris to the industry along the River Wandle, not to mention the influences and experiences of the many people who have moved to the area over the centuries.

Getting more people to take part, whether by learning about the history of their own streets or helping to organise one of several annual arts festivals in Sutton, is central to our vision.
