Below is the Sustainability Action Plan for Equity and Fair Trade

Some of the actions below you can do right away, and others are long-term actions that may need some organisation or funding to get underway. They are all equally important!

Action you can take now:

Choose Fair Trade goods when they are available - like tea, coffee, chocolate and bananas. Or ask the shop assistant about the provenance of their products (this is easier in small independent shop!).

Action you can take now:

Encourage your organisation to become a Living Wage employer, alonside the GLA, Barclays and BioRegional!

The Living Wage is the real minimum rate of pay that enables a worker to provide a decent standard of living for themselves and their family.

In London, the Living Wage currently stands at £7.20 per hour.
