Buried in the grounds of the All Saints Centre in Hackbridge lies a time capsule. The floor plaque says not to be opened until after July 2010. On April 9th you can come and see the capsule ceremonially lifted out of the ground and opened! What will be in it? We think it contains something to do with local history as well as Sutton residents' vision for 2010. What was teh vision?
Come and find out what's in it and take part in an afternoon of fun activities. Take the opportunity to say what you think should be in the time capsule when it is buried again and what your vision is for Hackbridge and the borough for 2025.
DATE: Saturday 9th April, 2.30-5pm
LOCATION: All Saints Centre in Hackbridge, click here for a map
There will be drawing, painting, games and a bouncy castle for children as well as displays and stalls with information about local activities. Don't miss out on this historic event.
This event is organised as a partnership between All Saints Church Hackbridge, EcoLocal, Transition Town Sutton and local Hackbridge residents.
